Hello! I’m a member on Real Teen Faith! I just had a question for you all!
I’m about to be dating a girl at my school. We’re both Christians and really involved in our youth group and church. However, she’s a senior, and I am a junior, and she’ll probably be leaving for college next year. How can I know if the relationship will last? And how can I make the most of the time we have together?
Thanks for setting up such a great website for us teens! If you’d like to post my question as a topic on the site, feel free!

I had lost my copy of “Real Teens, Real Issues” sometime this school year. I had kept it on a shelf at the back of my classroom. Students occasionally borrowed it so I thought I a student had borrowed it and then just forgot to
return it.
Then today I saw one of my students, Nick, reading it. I didn’t say anything because he was, one, reading and two, he was reading your book. Then the teacher next door came in and asked Nick if he was finished reading. Come to find out, my book had made its way to his classroom. He found it, read it, thought it was wonderful, and started assigning sections to students to read.
I gave him a short description of you and your testimony. I gave him the address for this website. Maybe he will get more of your books and assign more of your stories. :>)
Thanks for letting the Lord use you,
Joy C., high school teacher
I just finished reading your book, “The Woman I Am Becoming”. It’s weird how things work out. I was actually at an airport and I thought I would pass time by browsing through one of the stores. I found your book on the inspirational stand and for some reason I thought “I need to read this book”. And I’m glad that I did.
I’m a second year in college away from home. I’ve been struggling to find a bible study group, as the one on campus is small and unsteady. This also effects finding a community. All my close brothers and sisters are back home and due to time difference it’s hard to communicate. Lastly, I just want to say that Chapters 8 thru 10 were great reminders and it gave me a new perspective on giving and makes me question how I spend my money. I just wanted to say thank you for writing such inspirational books.
God bless.

We get tons of e-mails and behind-the-scenes comments from teens here at RTF. I want to start sharing some of them with you, some of the 100 to 200 teens who visit this site every day. I’m not going to edit them or try to make them perfect (though I’ll not use any personal details like last name or where you live). I just want the heart of what teens are saying to be out there.
Will you pray with me for Guadalupe and his school right now? Put it all down for one minute and let’s join together and pray that God will help him in his faith walk, and that Christ will rock this school with God’s love and presence and revival.
Good day Suzanne. I believe that your story will touch the heart of millions of people around the world.
In the way it touched my heart. I grew up in a family where my dad used to beat me up, physically and emotionally. In the beginning when I was the punching bag and he used to break me down emotionally as well, I felt so weak and useless.
But the day when he threw me out of the house (at that time I was 9 years of age) I sat outside on the street. I didn’t know what to do. I just closed my eyes and prayed. Two days later out of the bl
ue, my Grandfather appeared and picked me up from the pavement. He didn’t want to face my dad. He just took me in and to me he was a glimpse of God.
He took me in and taught me all the good things in life. He died three years ago, and I wish he was still here, there is so much I still have to learn and what I want to share with him. But He taught me about GOD, He helped me to become a strong young man. A young man strong enough to face the dad that threw him out many years ago.
I tracked my dad and faced him, I told him how I felt and then gave him a hug and I told him I still love him. He was so shocked but he still stays the same. I know deep in my heart that my dad won’t change, but what my Grandfather taught me that I hold most dear to my heart is forgiveness and peace. (more…)
