According to our stats, a lot of people accidentally find Real Teen Faith because they plug in a few keywords on Google to find teens and sex. They weren’t looking for a ministry that talks frankly about God and faith and real life, but porn.
Those keywords lead them here because it’s a teen site and we do talk about sex, but from a Scriptural point-of-view and we’re upfront about that. But something (or Someone) draws them to visit RTF. We’re glad that they do. (more…)

“Where can I go when I need help?” – you
This Friday I want to give advice to all our readers. I am going to introduce you to some resources so that you don’t have to feel helpless when you or someone you know is struggling. The following includes some common problems, along with some organizations where you can find help any time:
Self-injury (cutting)
Door of Hope: This organization offers free counseling (online or by phone) by certified Christian counselors for teen girls or young women.
ASHIC (American Self-Harm Information Clearinghouse): Here you can find a variety of resources and information about self-inury. (more…)

A friend, Darrin Ballard, has started The Timothy Project. It’s a blog for anyone who want to learn how to stay away from porn or how to make a different choice when tempted. It’s also for youth workers, or parents who want more information on how to prevent, or talk about, this issue with their teens. It’s definitely for teens who say that porn is a full-fledged problem in your life and you don’t know where to turn. (more…)

Maybe you are one of those people. Maybe you’ve snagged by the lure of Internet pornography. You hate it, but you keep doing it because it’s easy, because it makes you feel a certain way, or because it’s part of your secret life.
