Hi! I was wondering how you think I could get my friends and family to become Christians, or at least go to church with me and believe in God? I think its really awesome. Can you give me some thoughts about what to do? Thanks a lot. God Bless, and thanks.

When You Leave Friends Behind
By Catey Yuen, RTF Staff Writer
I’m a social person. I’ve always had a lot of friends since I was really young. But when I moved from California to Colorado two summers ago, all of that changed.
When you’ve lived in the same state your whole life, it’s easy to stay in contact with people. After all, most of the people you know you’ve known for a while. Almost all of my friends came from the church I’d been going to for years. It required very little for me to meet new people and still hang out with the old ones.
Then we moved and it all changed. (more…)

Do Hard Things?
by Maddee Schrader, RTF Staff Writer
She fidgeted, twitching a French fry between her fingers. Juan and Kara were seated behind her. Most people would not hear their conversation, or care. But she inherited good hearing from her mother. It was genetic, so how was the guilt she felt her fault?
Kara sighed, the sound fighting for rights in the chatter of the cafeteria. “I don’t know anymore. Why shouldn’t I?”
Juan took a moment to answer. “You still have your mom.”
Kara snorted. “Yeah, in all her Walgreens-employee glory.”
“She’s still someone.”

Are you like Zack? I was. (more…)

~Real Advice~I am a fifteen-year-old at a small school. In the past three days I have had two friends try to commit suicide and one of them was like my best friend. The other one not only hurt herself, but beat and attempted to stab her mom and sister. she slit her arm all up to mid-forearm, and is now at a Mental Institute. I need help. WHAT DO I DO?

Real Dilemma:
I am a teenaged girl and I wanted to get some advice.
The problem is that I am extremely shy and I just moved to a new country (from India to US). Everything is difficult for me. The language is not, but everything else is. It has been 8 months since I came here and 5 months since I started going to school.
Believe it or not, I don’t have a single friend. The only people who talk to me are a girl and a boy. But that is just formal talk. If I have a problem with my studies or I just want to share my feelings, I have absolutely no one. (more…)
