“I Felt Forgiven”
An Igniteyourfaith.com exclusive interview with Lacey Mosley of Flyleaf
by Todd Hertz
In an igniteyourfaith.com interview, IYF editor Todd Hertz talked to Lacey about her past and her faith.
What were your teen years like?
I was dealing with a lot with low self-esteem and depression, and I kind of hated myself a lot. I think that spilled over into relationships with other people. I hated everybody. So my home life was a bad situation. To get away from it, I started doing drugs when I was 13.

I met musical artist, Sara Groves, at a conference two years ago. She came to breakfast. Her hair was in pig tails and she looked about 19 years old, though she was older. She told funny stories that made us all laugh. She was real. I liked her immediately.
Later that day I listened to her sing and became an instant fan. She showed a documentary that afternoon, and I saw the passion behind the person.
Sara wrote an article–and an album–about human trafficking. She’s trying to put a face on this tragedy. (more…)

An article in Details magazine (reprinted on DoSomething.com) reports that Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas have gone on the record about their commitment to virginity . . . at least until marriage.
DoSomething isn’t quite sure what to do with this, though they appreciate that they guys have taken a stand on something.
Check out the article.
Check out the Jonas Brothers music on their MySpace!
And tell us what you think–about the article, about the issue, about the music.

Chasetheglow was formed recently in the spring of 2007. While the band itself is new its individual members aren’t having previous music experience being in other bands.
For example, I first hear lead singer Sara Pecchia’s vocals a few years back when she was in the band Identity. Back then I was amazed by her vocal talents being that she was still only a teenager, so when she recently contacted me about a new band she was involved with I couldn’t wait to hear their music.
I wasn’t disappointed Sara always had the vocal talent but now she also has the extra wisdom that comes from life experiences that adds that extra bit of passion to her vocals. (more…)

I Hated Everyone
How God’s love changed Flyleaf’s Lacey Mosely.
By Todd Hertz
I had nothing:
Flyleaf lead singer Lacey Mosely started doing drugs at 13. It was her escape from life. “Home was a war zone and I dealt a lot with low self-esteem and depression,” Lacey says. “All that carried over into my relationships. I hated everyone.”
