When I was younger going back to school was the best and worst of times. As I got older it was to be dreaded but then I hit high school and it just got old! Every year shopping for the same supplies, every year having to wait for teachers to learn my name, and every year longing for the first weekend of the school year. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of year again! Back to school! The time of new notebooks, binders, no. #2 pencils, and mystery meat.
Back to school has always been one of my favorite times of year. The chance at a new, untarnished school year that seems ripe with possibilities and opportunities. Last year was one such beginning. A beginning that I did not use to its full potential.

To say Jared has a full plate this semester is an understatement. He is actively involved in Student Council, plays sports year round, and has a part time job at the grocery store. On top of this, he is constantly volunteering at church and, oh yeah, has a ton of homework too.
