Happy Retro Day! As I was browsing our archives, this really jumped out at me. I hope it encourages you to do something bold this week. Enjoy! ~ Halee

A bold move; handing out a tract to a stranger, being the wallflower and striking up a conversation with someone, helping an acquaintance cope with heartache.
Bold moves are all around, waiting for someone to take the chance and do something. The chronically ill teenager who spends countless hours in the hospital, searching for the answer; the child who no longer has a father; they live their lives on courage, strength, hope: bold moves.
Imagine what one teen can do by being bold. Help out a stranger, become someone’s best friend, help another hurting teen be able to live again.
America is the land of opportunities. The land where being bold and daring is okay. I’ve been able to help an acquaintance cope with heartache. I know the chronically ill teenager. If the chronically ill teenager can get better, and if the child can look up and realize he can press on without his father, imagine what a teen can do by having that kind of courage, strength, and hope.
Strength that Jesus gives
Helps us in these lives that we live
The courage to speak out
Against things people rarely think about
Hope in time of fear
No matter what, He’s always near
Do your best,
Don’t give up your hold
You’ll never go anywhere,
Without being bold.
