Father, I’ve been waiting
For you to reach down
And show them who you are
And turn this mess around
They need a Savior
They need the peace
Of a loving God
Who will never leave
Please fix their broken hearts
And be with them tonight
Wrap them in your arms
And hold them tight
Take away their pain
I know they’re feeling torn
Protect and love them
Lord, please stop the storm
The pain they go through
Is tearing me apart
Please let the sun shine
Like love inside their hearts
Show them your kindness
Forgiveness and grace
They’re weak from the fight
Please come and stand in their place
Please fix their broken hearts
And be with them tonight
Wrap them in your arms
And hold them tight
Take away their pain
I know they’re feeling torn
Protect and love them
Lord, please stop the storm
They’re beautiful
Inside and out
But this cold world
Has filled their hearts with doubt
Tired and lonely
They’re filled with pain
Please stop their tears
And end this rain
Please fix their broken hearts
And be with them tonight
Wrap them in your arms
And hold them tight
Take away their pain
I know they’re feeling torn
Protect and love them
Lord, please stop the storm
