Organize a clothes exchange – get friends and people in your community to bring anything they don’t want so they can swap!
Find a shelter in your area and offer your services
Learn a language so you can understand someone else’s culture
Find your local child abuse hotline and put the number up at school
Clean up your park or playground
Volunteer at a summer day camp in your area
Get a local coffee shop to open late one night a week so kids have an alcohol free hang out
Cheer up a child by sending get well cards to your local hospital
Put on a night of entertainment for children with cancer in your local hospital
Celebrate an elderly person’s life in your church.
Host a black and white movie night at your elderly home.
Perform songs from the fifties and sixties at a senior citizens home.
Smile at the next person you see no matter what.
Sign up as a volunteer for your town’s next blood drive.
Volunteer to tutor at risk students
Sit with a new friend at lunch — someone who is new, or struggles with the language
Create a Facebook group for your favorite cause — be the first to donate!
