According to our stats, a lot of people accidently find Real Teen Faith because they plug in a few keywords on Google.com to find teens and sex. They weren’t looking for a ministry that talks frankly about God and faith and real life, but porn.
Those keywords lead them here because it’s a teen site and we do talk about sex, but from a Scriptural point-of-view and we’re upfront about that. But something (or Someone) draws them to visit RTF. We’re glad that they do.
Maybe you are one of those people. Maybe you’ve snagged by the lure of Internet pornography. You hate it, but you keep doing it because it’s easy, because it makes you feel a certain way, or because it’s part of your secret life.
The truth is that any type of addiction can be overwhelming. Where do you begin if you want that part of your life to change? (more…)

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18
This verse is often shared with us to say that Jesus understands. He knows what we are going through. He loves us. He was tempted, so he gets it when we are tempted.
But let’s look at this another way. Do we understand what He went through? Do we know that He was tempted in the midst of humiliation, physical suffering, betrayal, shame, loneliness?

Rating: 8.9 out of 10
Chasetheglow was formed recently in the spring of 2007. While the band itself is new its individual members aren’t having previous music experience being in other bands.
For example, I first hear lead singer Sara Pecchia’s vocals a few years back when she was in the band Identity. Back then I was amazed by her vocal talents being that she was still only a teenager, so when she recently contacted me about a new band she was involved with I couldn’t wait to hear their music.
I wasn’t disappointed Sara always had the vocal talent but now she also has the extra wisdom that comes from life experiences that adds that extra bit of passion to her vocals. (more…)

Do you ever wonder if a teen (or anyone) can change the world?
Lindsey Giambattista is a teen who wanted to do something through her faith that would change the world. Giambattista began praying about an outreach - some sort of ministry she could participate in - some way to utilize her unique gifts for God’s glory. Besides being an A-student, Lindsay was/is an avid shopper.
So after considerable prayer and debate, the idea was born. Taylor’s Closet would allow girls in foster care to come into a store-like environment and “shop” for whatever clothes they liked - completely free of charge. The idea was just to put a smile on their face for a moment and let them know they weren’t alone. (more…)

A Flower Quickly Fading
by Jenn Joshua, RTF Staff Writer
“I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow…
…A vapor in the wind
Still you hear me when I’m calling
Lord, you catch me when I’m falling
And You show me who I am;
I am Yours.”
Who can understand life and its brevity? The One who created life and orchestrated our steps and told us that it was good. And it is good for those of us who love Him.
My aunt died last night. Dad just came in the door and told me the news. I was stunned. I knew it was almost inevitable and still I’m surprised. Why?
