Real Needs

“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” –Luke 11:9 (KJV)
“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
So many times, we use verses like these to ask about physical things–a new computer, a digital camera, a better job and the list goes on and on.
But how often do you take the time to pray for other needs and wants? Like your emotional and spiritual needs? (more…)

I don’t know where to turn anymore. My family relationship is getting worse and worse, and when I try to open up to my friends, they just blow me off because I have been unrealistically known as the easy going, happy girl.
I love my jesus, but this is getting my focus off of him, making fall deeper and deeper. I was struggling with suicidal thoughts in 7th grade, and they are coming back again…Is there anything I can do to help me deal or something? I’m scared. Katherine (more…)

Ministry

The word “ministry” sounds big, impressive, and intimidating. Often, people are frightened by the idea of starting one. To avoid getting involved, we often make excuses. Teenagers feel too young to have a ministry, adults don’t have time, and the shy are afraid to try. . .
