God’s Fireworks
by Marissa Rule
Psalm 18:28 - For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
In Alaska, if y
ou gaze up at the sky, you’ll see the miraculous beams of the Northern lights descending from the very hand of God. It is a wonder to think that our God has given the people of Alaska such a unique display of lights, like fireworks in the darkness. God shows us His ultimate power by these breathtaking streaks of light that He has placed in the sky. Our awesome God has placed every thing where it should be.
Psalm 148:3
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
The verse says that even the sun, moon, and the stars of light praise our God. If they praise Him, shouldn’t we praise Him even more? God wants you to put Him first in your life, and to give Him the praise that belongs to Him. So the next time you look up at the beauty of the sky, make sure to remember the One who made it.
