“I don’t understand”
By Ashley PhillipsI just don’t understand how you can walk away.
After knowing all the things He planned for you today,
And not just today but everyday you’re alive.
I just don’t understand…
I still don’t understand why you want to run away,
From the God of grace and mercy; who runs after you today.
How after spending so much time chasing after God,
You could turn and walk away and not even care.
I still don’t understand….
Will somebody please explain this? Does anybody understand?
How you can see all that God has for you and not want that too.
How can you see the greatest things in the whole world
and not want to take part in it’s coming to be?
Does anybody understand?
I still don’t understand, but don’t really have to.
All I have to do is pray that God will see them through.
And simply pray that one day soon they will stop running away,
and just embrace the God of grace,
who’s continually running their way.
