THANK YOU

I was once asked,
“What would you say to Jesus
If you could say one thing?”
Thoughts came but not with a fuss.
My eyes filled with water
And I couldn’t say a word.
All my heart could think to do
Was that I’d fall before.
There would be nothing,
Not one word to say.
My heart would soar high
But I couldn’t just say, “Hey”.
No, words could not explain!
Anything that came to mind…
Who would know what to say
To the One who’s oh so kind?
The words to say to Him
Could n
ot simply tie a shoe!
Most people could find a word
But how do you say, “Thank you”?
Charity Christy is 19 years old, a college student, and loves to write poetry. Charity says that she surrendered to missions in 2004!
