It’s on the news. Adults are talking about it on blogs, in forums, on the telephone with a friend. What can you do? How do you avoid lunatics walking in with a gun and harming students?
All the usual arguments fell flat in this past week’s shooting. The Amish don’t have TV, video games. . . violent movies. The man who shot the girls wasn’t Amish. He wasn’t an angry, bullied teen. He was a milk man.
May I turn the mike over to you? What do you think needs to happen to make your schools safe? Is this an issue? Do you think about it?
I’ve erased a paragraph several times — trying to reason it all out, but I think we need God more than ever. He needs to be the center of our lives. He can’t be pushed down into a small box where we let him out in crises and shove him down at other times. We need him every single day. We needĀ him as a country.

Jade says:
I think you hit it right on the head when you said: God. Our country needs God more than ever before, I believe that with all my heart.

you must know that in a sex crazed
world. and a pure lunatic society
the only answer is God!
I wish also that more people
would speak up?
right now it’s a lot to speak up
and be heard about.
nobody is crying out for change!
